Hi, guys! SUMMER NA SOON!!! :) Though generally conscious ako about stuff I eat, I am so proud of my Tita Sandy's homemadepizza, that I make sure to always order at least 6 boxes on set! My fav flavours are White Cheese, Tuyo and Very Veggie (wheat flour pizza!). She makes her own dough fresh in the morning and delivers her pizza straight from the oven... And while being surprisingly affordable (pls call # for price), they come in huge slices!!! Mmmmmm!

Well, she has taken her many baby steps for her new pizza business and now it is ready to SOAR! With the local Philippine twists she incorporates in her flavours, my 'Twin' (being my pops' youngest sister, we really look alike!) will take this pizza to greater, yummier heights. :)

ahh kace! have you ever tried to make homemade pizza yourself? it takes a lot of time and effort (takes me about 4-5 hours)...pero super worth it because it comes out extra EXTRA delicious. it's too bad they don't deliver to California (LOL mahal siguro ang service charge sa layo!), but i'll make sure to spread the word!

Kahit na ma late ako sa office (9pm-Alabang) kumain na kami mga 7pm pero buti naman at saktong 9pm ako nakarating! hahaha!Nauna na lang akong umalis. Nag-taping na nung Sabado, March 15, si KC Concepcion para sa bago niyang programa sa ABS-CBN. Ngayong Lunes, March 17, sa isang palengke somewhere in Quezon City, ang ikalawang araw ng taping.
Mas pinili ni KC ang mag-comedy at light drama kesa sa ibang projects na inilatag sa kanya ng iba't ibang business unit heads (BUH) ng Kapamilya network.
Iniintriga naman ang sobrang pagiging espesyal ni KC sa ABS-CBN. Tulad na lang ng pagpe-present daw muna sa kanya ng iba't ibang BUH na usually ay inilalatag muna sa top executives ng network bago sa artista. May umalma raw tuloy na ibang talents ng Dos nang mabalitaan nila na si KC mismo ang pumili ng proyektong gagawin niya, unlike them na kung ano lang ang ibigay dahil kapag tumanggi sila ay baka mawalan sila ng trabaho.
At sa dami ng nabalitang makakapareha ni KC, si Jake Cuenca ang masuwerteng nabigyan ng chance na maging kauna-unahang leading man ng Megadaughter. Walang eksena si Jake nung first day ng taping ni KC at nakatakda pa lang silang magkita ng Megadaughter sa taping ngayon.
Gaganap si Jake bilang artista at si Chokoleit ang kanyang road manager. Adopted daughter si KC ni Ai-Ai delas Alas at ninang naman niya si Rubi Rubi sa first episode na pinamagatang "Binibini."
Isang dalagang mahilig sumali sa mga beauty contest at pag-aartista ang role ni KC. Habang tutol naman ang kanyang ina-inahan na si Ai-Ai sa takot na makita siya ng kanyang tunay na mga magulang.
Magsisimula ang show ni KC sa March 29, kapalit ng dating timeslot ng Volta ni Ai-Ai na nagtapos last Saturday. Ayon sa source ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), I Am KC ang title ng unang regular show ng anak ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta sa ABS-CBN.
Samantala, sa isang interbyu ay nadulas daw si KC pagsabing si John Lloyd Cruz ang magiging leading man niya sa kauna-unahan niyang pelikula sa Star Cinema.

Nung nakita ko sa the buzz yung part na naglalakad ka KC sa stage for the pageant. hehe. dun palang nalaman ko na puwede ka rin pala sa comedy, nakakatawa naman. Mukhang okay naman. Kung may mga part na hindi maganda or exaggerated PM (Personal Message) na lang kita. Nais ko ring makatulong sa career na tinatahak mo ngayon. I believe na goal mo ring maging successful on where you at. Watch awarded artist in a particular genre, and listen to the director, it will add up and help you be successful. Kapag sanay ka na, I believe they are welcome to your own suggestion. Nakakatuwa si Dolphy, he add more lines sa script na binibigay sa kanya, natutuwa ang director and staff. That will make your work more fun and challenging. Fill in the blanks or add more spice to it. Galingan mo KC. Rock on!

Wow, ang saya-saya talaga ng mga kookiberks. Kakainggit at u had such a fun time making plans for a get together and eat out with Sandyās Pizzaā¦(Kawawa naman kami na nasa malayo.) Makakapost din ako ng video na pampabigat. Naview ko na ito a few days back, usually inaantay ko sina Vhelly ang mauuna maglagay nito. Nagtataka ako, bakit walang nagpopost patungkol dito. I think this video clip is important and very admirable of KC to celebrate with her beloved Virlanie Foundation and keep philantrophy on top of her mind. Consistent talaga siya, noh? kaya idol na idol ko 'tong batang 'to.
Ipinagmamalaking ihandog ng ABS-CBN ang āI am KCā, isang month-long drama anthology na may apat na episode kung saan makikita ang ibaāt ibang mukha at galing ni KC sa pag-arte. Ito na rin ang kanyang birthday treat para sa sarili at sa kanyang mga fans na walang sawa ang pagsuporta.
Sa unang episode (March 29) na pinamagatang āBinibining Palengkeā, sa ilalim ng direksyon ni Wenn Deramas, makikita natin ang lighter side ni KC ā fun, wacky at kengkoy bilang si Gemma, laki sa hirap at taklesa ngunit palaban at independent rin. Isang light comedy, makakasama niya ang Comedy Concert Queen na si Ai-ai delas (Ramona) bilang kanyang ina. Dahil sa hirap ng buhay, sinasali ni Ramona ang kanyang anak sa mga beauty pageant. Dito niya makikilala si Jeremy (Jake Cuenca), ang sikat at gwapong artista. Sa unang pagkikita ay nabighani agad ito sa magandang binibini - ngunit may sikreto palang itinatago!
Sa ikalawang episode (April 5) na "Yes Sir," na ididirek ni Andoy Ranay, si KC ay si Kate, isang chief-of-staff sa isang hotel at girlfriend ni Budoy (Luis Manzano). Dahil sa demanding na trabaho ni Kate, may mga pagkakataon na hindi magkakaunawaan ang dalawa. Nangakong tutulungan ang may sakit na lola, todo kayod ang dalaga. Sa light romance na ito, magiging malapit sa kanya ang boss niyang si Ed na gagampanan ng veteran actor na si Albert Martinez. Sa kanilang pagkakaibigan, matututo ang mag-boss sa mga karanasan ng isa't isa tungkol sa buhay at sa paghahanap nila ng tunay na kaligayahan.
Sa ikatlong episode (April 12 )na pinamagatang "Time's Up!," sa direksyon ni Jerry Lopez Sineneng, si KC ay gaganap bilang si Charm, isang Accounting student na mamamatay sa isang shoot-out. Isang light fantasy kasama ang batang aktor na si Makisig Morales, magkakaroon muli si Charm ng pagkakataong mahanap ang kanyang killer. Ngunit mayroong limitasyon, dapat sa loob lamang ng tatlong araw ay mahanap at mabago na niya ang lalaking aksidenteng nakapatay sa kanya. Sa pagkakataong ito, marami siyang madidiskubreng katotohanan na di niya inaasahan! Kasama rin niya dito sina Gardo Versoza, Zanjoe Marudo, Jiro Manio, Joshua Cadelina at Matteo Guidicelli.
Sa finale episode (April 19) na "Love 2 Dance" ni direk Johnny Manahan ay isang musical naman ang mapapanood kasama ang Supahpapalicious na si Vhong Navarro. Ito ay ang nakakaaliw na kwento nila Pauli (KC) at Dong (Vhong) na dance partners simula nang sila'y mga bata pa. Nangako na hanggang sa pagtanda ay magiging silang dalawa ang magkasama sa pagkamit ng kanilang mga pangarap - hanggang sa isang magandang pagkakataong dadating sa dalaga! Sino kaya ang pipiliin ni Pauli, ang best friend niya at ang kanilang promise o ang lalaking makakapagpasikat sa kanya?
Bawat Sabado, ibaāt ibang kwento, sari-saring director at co-stars ang makakatrabaho kaya naman lalong makikilala ang iniidolong si KC! Mahalin , maaliw, maiyak at matawa sa nag-iisang KC sa kanyang unang drama anthology sa ABS-CBN!

Wawa naman si Kooki natin... Imagine ,guys, ginagawa yun ni Kooki para sa ating lahat na nagmamahal sa kanya. Waaahhh!! Love you so much , Kace!!! I check on your site once in a while but this is my first time to leave a comment on your multiply site, gusto ko lang i-share sa iyo, na isa ako plus my Ate Men at ang buong pamilya namin sa milyon-milyon na tagahanga ng iyong mga magulang, Gabby at Sharon : ) At bilang tagahanga ako'y labis na natuwa nung malaman ko na bumalik na si Gabby, grabe super tili talaga sa bahay ginawa namin, at nung ininterview na siya sa The Buzz, tutok na tutok talaga kami. When Gabby was teary-eyed, I was teary-eyed also.. grabe damang-dama ko, feeling close no hehehe. Im sooo happy talaga, overwhelmed, lutang pa rin feeling ko kasi hindi expected, it was a nice surprise for us fans na he is back finally. ; ) Naalala kita, kasi kung kaming mga fans nga super saya what more ikaw, gusto naming makibahagi sa kasiyahan mo for this momentous event na ito. Opo, aaminin ko fan ako ni Gabby Concepcion-Sharon Cuneta tandem as in grabeee! todo-todo! Well kanya-kanya talagang preferences yan. I mean, who hasn't been a fan? I guess all of us have a "fan" side within us.
Ever since bata pa ako( magflashback ba?!) , pinapanood talaga namin lahat kami sa bahay, special mention sa Ate Men ko, mga pelikula at shows nila as in. Tapos I remember doon sa clinic nung dentist namin, while waiting for our turn, mega basa kami ng mga magazines at wag ka pag may article about the two of them, well, pasimple, we would rip off the page, then fold it and hide it on our pockets. Hahaha! Partners in crime ko si Ate Men ; ) We even prayed na sana magkabalikan pa sila. My religious Lola joined us in praying, would you believe!?! Kakaloka! Head over heels talaga kami sa tambalan nila. It's good to reminisce those days...
As everybody knows they fell apart... bitterly. Nalungkot talaga kami. Disappointed :(
But even if they aren't together anymore, I will always be a fan. And the fan in me still hopes that they will become friends and eventually they will be together again in a lot of projects. I bet they will be blockbusters :)

I am a huge KC fan but I think acting is not her forte. I was disappointed with her MMK acting. Now her comedy acting ability/skill is a mere so-so (pilit na pilit, facial expressions, tone of voice). Totally disappointing again. Maybe this is a wrong move for you, Kace. The THESPIAN genes from Mom and Dad are not in you. I think you'd excel more in hosting. How about a short talk show where you'd be more natural with yourself. I love your documentary, you were excellent with that kind of thing.

sugahmamma08, i respect ur opinion but i disagree with you...KC's MMK performance is her acting debut and for a beginner, she was superb. She is even a natural in most scenes...she will only get better that's for sure...so, don't put a period yet on her acting career...stick around if you're really a fan, and i guarantee you, KC does not disappoint!!!

I've been here in the States since 1991, and I have only updated myself on the "life happenings" of Sharon and her family, esp. KC. I watch mostly ABS-CBN when I get a chance so I really don't know much about Richard Gutierrez except he's good-looking and he belongs to the Gutierrez clan.
From doing a little bit of research, it seemed like this guy has been around the block. He's dated and been the boyfriend of quite a few very good-looking girls...Anne Curtis, Georgina, etc. He also belonged to one of the hottest loveteams - Richard and Angel Locsin. Did he court her too? Did they become BF/GF? And on his recent movie My BFGF, from watching Don't Lie To Me - he confessed of courting Marian before, and if given the chance, he'll court her again someday?
I really like this guy, and it seems like KC likes him enough to give him an 8 out of 10, but... Maybe, since there is some resemblance to Sharon and Gabby - that of being from two different film companies/networks, I just really pray that if they end up together in real life, that it will be forever.

Iāve read not long ago Sharon Cunetasā comment on GC return in the entertainment industry. This is what I call intelligence, class to a highest degree. And one can also feel the strong and real love of a mother towards her family. A Brilliant answer. In this industry itās not hopeless after all. I hope the Filipino journalists and public will learn from this. Perhaps itās high time that the populace should demand and improve their taste in what one could call entertainment. Showbizz comments on personal lives of famous personalities are so overrated. Wish they would move on to more intelligent questions about the subject. Like for example, why do these movie stars agree to an interview, precisely because they are marketing to the masses their movie or whatever project they have in store. So the press or writers should ask about the movie and about the work. Lets face it, this is a job like others only its open for the public's consumption. It's media blitz and marketing.

Respect for Sharon regarding her answers to what the people wants to do a movie with Gabby, she answered absolutely correct and very intelligent. No wonder Kc brought up to be a very nice, lovely, wonderful daughter, far from what other people claiming "sister sya(garie) ni kc. If Mr. Gabby had mistaken before and created this monkeys that was past, she should be thankful at nalahian sya kung talagang kay Gabby yun ha, kasi talagang doubtful hitsura nya. But to create more publicity and refresh everything happened from the past it would`nt help lalo na sa side ni gabby who wants to make a changed. WHY? there are people who in the first place alam nya na kabit sya at palipasan lang ng sama ng loob(gracia), still making this issues di kaya bitter parin sya and cant accept the truth and now shes pushing her daughter to be closer to Kc and saying she has the right because shes also the daughter of Gabby? I was again disappointed with Binibining Palengke. Kahit anong physical comedy pa ang gawin ni Ai-ai hindi talaga mabenta kung bulok na ang isda. Sino nga yung guy? (tingnan mo and I won't even bother to check who he is. forgettable naman eh) Perfect example of pretty face but LAME. all the supporting characters, litaw sa mukha nila that they were there for KC and not for the story. they were privileged to be around KC. si direk Wen Deramas din, all praises. hellow! i'd rather have KC be a bitch but if she can deliver the role, kiver na. because this is meant to be a drama anthology not a tribute to KC's goodness,kindness,chieness. And yes princess..you are too graceful at pa-cute maging palengkera. kapansin pansin naman ang adjustment sa mukha mo when you try to look rough. pero nasanay kasi kami sa mga commercial and print ads mo na laging maganda ang mukha mo, flawless pa lagi at perfect ang ngiti. So when you are attempting to deconstruct that to fit the character, si lovely Kace pa rin ang nakikita namin. Pero neng, talent mo talaga umiyak. While you can switch that on easily sana gamitin naman ng director mo sa tamang pagkakataon. Mauumay naman kami.

We Filipino people deserves much better than what we are used to. May it be in the field of politics education, health and entertainment. With the first one it needs the will of the people to have an honest, working and functioning government for the people or nation. And it needs intelligent and healthy people. Unfortunately, the Philippine as a nation is weak, majority of people are hungry and canāt afford a good health care. My admiration for at this early point in your life you have shown responsibility towards the underprivileged children, abused young women, young artist, young people in Mindanao who are the future of this land. We should all be aware that these are not your obligations but you are doing it, freely. And to be chosen by United Nation to be the Philippine Ambassador against hunger, what an achievement. The character you played in MMK and 1st out of 4 series in I am KC for me was very good and entertaining. In MMK I was not so keen on seeing you cry although you were very good at it. I enjoyed more the scenes where you played a strong, hopeful, struggling, happy and playful KC. Just looking at the life of majority of Filipinos one could already cry. While in I am KC your dialogues were funny and as expert critics would say āpretty good for a beginnerā. Is there a room for improvement? Of course, who doesnāt need it, NOBODY! Honestly, even a surgeon in the operating room needs to operate several times to perfect the craft. Several patients even die until a surgeon reaches the pinnacle. Iām not disappointed as a few are. I couldnāt do what youāre doing. Iām glad Iām not in your shoes but just waiting to be entertained. With regards to the special treatment you are receiving, of course you deserve it. They know you are and in the near future you will be the money maker of this industry. The CEO, president of ABS-CBN are not stupid. Not only your fans will follow you but the rich, middle and low earning citizens waiting to be entertained as well. And as fan, I donāt believe you need an actor to be paired with, or perhaps these actors need you? Although I must say that Derek Ramsey from MMK wasnāt bad. He is tall, dark, handsome, and intelligent and I think he is hot! May God keep you safe, healthy, and give you more blessings. And lastly I hope you are also having fun, just like us having fun waiting and looking at the sidelines. You will be 23 y.o. on 7th of April right, oh my, you are too young. Eto ang pam-birthday ko.....a tip for a movie material. The Cebuano group who just made the independent movie Confessional have materials and are hinting to cash in. Nabasa ko sa isang article that they looking for finance. Makalaglag panty ang statement ng genius writer, Jerrold Tarog: "Old-school Pinoy mainstream (cinema) is all about the buck. Theyāre producer-driven. To survive, they rely on formula. Thereās no room for exploration and spontaneity, only imitation and branding. That doesnāt mean theyāre inherently bad. It just means theyāre not the films to turn to when you want to learn about life."
Quality ang trailer ng movie which was released in January (huli na ako sa balita, kahapon ko lang 'to nabasa) convinced naman ako sa content. Kakaiba. Also, this movie garnered Star Cinema awards. Ewan ko lang ko anong value nito at kung alam eto ng ABS CBN.
KC napanood mo ba 'to or would you happen to know these people? Princess power na, neng! Your bosses are cashing in on you by feeding you to the masa and in the process underestimating us. Masa ako neng, but I am ready for something different. I have faith in you that you can bridge that gap. We welcomed naman Paris to Pinas. Napaka alta-sosyal nun kung tutuusin but viewers want an escape via entertainment. Na convince naman kami because we picked up on the Truth in it. Another example, the modern ballet that you did on your mom's b-day...that was superb! (Sawang sawa na kami sa mga gumigiling na chipipay i.e. wowoweee) Hindi siya mainstream pero nabaliw naman kami sa talent mo dun. Gaya nga ng sabi ni Vhelly, "kakaiba ka". Aba yung pizza ng Tita Sandy mo, sinasadya naman namin. The Artist Fair...suportado naman namin yun. Fan na fan kami at alam namin deep inside ang tatak KC. (at alam namin kung inuuto na kami )

I'm not much on showbiz stuff, it's really my wife's forte. I just wanted to share a little something.
All we read about is KC is beautiful, KC is this and that... Have we heard anywhere about KC as a person? She is as ordinary as anyone, does ordinary things though living in an extraordinary life. Have you guys and gals ever thought of how tough life is her for her? All the pressure, the scrutiny, the expectations that she has to meet etc. She can't even go out and get a cup of coffee and not get mobbed. It is the price she has to pay for her fame and success.
I am happy for her, for her mom raised her well; for giving her the freedom she desires, albeit somewhat limited, but freedom nonetheless. She is perfect as a role model, someone for our new generation of kids to look up to. If only we could get more of her kind to help the needy, inspire the teens, oh that would be one heck of a Rotary project.
We should admire a person not because of their looks, not because of their acting prowess, not because of their wealth, but because of their personality. A kind and generous person, whether dressed in rags or gold, will always show their true self.
My Birthday wish for you is this: I wish that someday, you may live an ordinary life. A life where you can hang out with friends, do stuff that you've always wanted to do but never got the time for. Not having to look over your shoulder and worrying what the next person would think about you. Away from the scrutinizing eyes of the public.

Hi KC, Yes, Sir -was my favorite of the 4 installments. Balanced ang casting, mas natural ang dating ng acting relative sa ibang installment, the improvement in performance was noticeable, at gusto ko yung timing nyo ni Luis Manzano. You were also playing a relatable pinay- glorified secretary, which many of us are (including moi!).
Luv 2 Dance- hands down, magaling ka talaga sumayaw. Surprising ang talent mo na 'to. So unexpected. Soooo may K. Tama yan hindi puro pagpaseksi at pagpapagiling lang sumayaw. Kailangan ng acrobatics, flexibility, physical skill, extension (and everything the judges are looking for in So You Think You Can Dance!). Ang daming parts na corny, parang ano ba yan?! *sabay roll my eyes. Pero aliw lang talaga panoorin ka sumayaw. Girl, the black leather suit on you was sooo hot! Hahaa, yung motive ng boyfriend manager mo, heller!? (at boses k*k* siya) I mean you present a modern, supposedly urban hiphop kind of story- pero ang mga linya ha, pang Dona Aguida!
Haay, I wish I can write a script for you or some people here will be inspired to write a material- na maganda. I actually have a short story written but I had Reese Witherspoon in mind for that. If we see you in Hollywood or international screen, I'll make adjustments and to turn it into a screenplay for you. It's as inventive as Shakespeare in Love : ) naks!

True, while we are just trolls here, albeit loyal to KC, bago nagsulat ang media people, we knew this would come along and everyone knows here that we warned about this long before them ( kaso pinersonal nila). So the more we see KC, she is exposing her strengths (product endorsement, charities, personality, celebrity power),weaknesses (celluloid media), opportunities (dancing, singing) and threats (younger and relatable local personality). (Paging Sandra Chavez, KC's fans are not as daft as you think!)

Here is my two cents on this good hypothetical question. I am sure all the cast and crew for the 4 episodes worked very hard but since I am, hypothetically, the big honcho of ABS, I will give the whole 1000 (ano 'to pesos o dolyares o euros?) to the ones that worked on the "Yes Sir" episode because it was well cast especially Albert for the workaholic but often misunderstood boss and he was able to bring balance to KC's role of that of an overworked, underpaid secretary.
The story was great; albeit, a tad bit formulaic, but at least it didn't over-reached like some of the other episodes that did exactly that but somehow came up short nonetheless. Noticed I didn't say far-fetched story since nothing is really far-fetched if a movie or an episode was able to suspend it's audience disbelief for that hour or how ever long the show was running. Acting wise, everyone on this particular episode was more subdued, again, in comparison to the other ones and the gestures i.e. hand movements, facial expressions, etc. were also much more subtle hence; did not distract the flow of the scene(s).
Kudos to the director of this episode because he was able to bring into fruition what's others didn't and couldn't; that is a sense of believability on the acting abilities from all of the actors involved which, in turn, enabled him (the director) to translate into the small screen a much more believable story and credible characters.
And then, (bigay hilig na ba?) I will hire the same director and writer to collaborate on a story that is not formulaic but one that has a fresh and interesting premise that will really showcase KC's acting ability. After all, I'd like to think that audiences nowadays have developed a much more sophisticated taste and know what to spend and/or waste their hard earned money on. And then, I will make sure that everyone involved will undergo a month long, or two (if necessary), rigorious acting workshop prior to filming to ensure a satisfying finished product that would claim both critical and commercial successes and perhaps even garner several awards from both local and international award-gving bodies. Hala nangarap na ako este si Charo pala. Anyway, yun lang. :o)

Hmm...let's see, in KC's album, the girl that is eating a slice of pizza is her friend but....in this pretender's album, the very same girl that is eating pizza is now the pretender's "tita".
Wow, this is surreal like an episode from Twilight Zone in which KC and the pretender is one and the "same"; living in a parallel universe and one day, their worlds collided, ergo, "same pictures" were taken but....here is the kicker, the same pictures were taken two years apart, Hmm...? Whooa..mind boggling.

Episode 2: Yes, Sir!: Kapansin-pansin ang good rapport ninyo ni Luis Manzano... Bagay kayo gumawa ng pelikula together ( wag lang yung tipong loveteam na kayo) pag kaeksena mo si Albert Martinez as your boss at si Gina Pareno as your lola, you are like him and her in a sense na may pagka-mature na..
Episode 3: Time's Up: Okay lang, kaso di ko gusto yung iba sa script ... yung eksena mo kay Gardo Versoza, nung pumunta ka sa bahay nila sa sementeryo... lasing siya tapos ikaw yung pinagdiskitahan niya.. sabay sabi niya " wag mong daanin sa ganda" something... duh??? ano koneksyon nun..parang di na pinag-isipan.. as if naman di alam ng viewers na maganda ka... a basta parang walang koneksyon sa istorya... Okay din pala pag ka-eksena mo si makisig morales... magaling kayo pareho na magbatuhan ng linya... makikita yung tension, frustration and concern...
Episode 4: (Luv 2 dance): SUPERB! grabe ang skills mo sa dancing! may pagka daring yung eksena na sumasayaw ka sa parking space at sa kotse pero okay lang kasi wholesome naman.. Nakakaaliw pag sumasayaw ka. Once again, okay ka magpatawa...
Siguro yung dapat na i-improve sa acting mo is that you need to hold on (longer) with the emotions of the character you're playing, kasi parang pag on cam ka, medyo mabilis kang mag "shift" pati sa mga blockings... at tsaka pag nagde-deliver ka ng lines, minsan para kang kumakanta... kapansin-pansin yung rising-falling intonation...

KC and Richard Gutierrez movie? Iām a little disappointed kasi why does it have to Richard ang magiging leading man nya sa first movie nya? Siguro pinagbibigyan lang nila ang hiling ng mga fans nila. But it doesnāt make sense kasi hindi naman kailangan ni KC ng another big star or ng kahit na sinuman para i-promote ang first movie nya. I know naman that she can make it own her own. Donāt get me wrong, but, I think mas exciting panoorin ang magiging first movie kung iba ang kaparehas nya, kasi aabangan ng mga tao kung me āKā ba talaga syang umarte or at least ma curious yong mga tao sa kung ano pa ang mga kayang nyang gawin. Just like yong MMK nya ā ang point ko lang eh she doesnāt need Richard Gutierrez sa first movie nya. I agree that they look good together, pero I was really hoping na sa first movie nya eh KAKAIBA. Well, opinion lang po. Iām a KC fan pa rin ā kayo mga kookiberks share nyo naman opinion nyo sa tambalan ng dalawa. Cheers!

Haha, Chuybelle, sasabunin ka ni Anabelle Rama! Basta maganda ang istorya bahala na ang Star Cinema sa gastos. Shame on them, if they are just relying on the stars' names.
It's interesting how you expressed that KC can make it on her own. Yung independence ni KC, nakabaon na sa atin. It reaches to us on a deeper level. We just don't realize it per nag-shi-shift na ang cultural behaviour natin as women. We were fed with the idea na kailangan natin ng lalakeng kapares, but that no longer holds true in our society. We send so many of our women abroad and they become breadwinners. So many broken relationships where women are committed to raise a family on her own. I think the first movie will be exciting if it resonates values of girl power and not the tired love team formula.
Aha! what if the movie starts with KC pregnant and she is a young mother? She meets a guy with all her baggage and insecurities and overcomes this? After all, si Joyce Bernal ang director niya who tackles women empowerment. I like this movie to have KC as the aggressor. She will not have to wait for a hunky prince charming to kiss her. She will initiate it. After all, she would not get pregnant kung hindi siya kiriray. But we shouldn't punish her on that premise nor should we accept that. There is a sensitive topic that can be explored on our conflict with our sexuality. KC as an actor is so going to get this because she lived in Paris for chrissakes! Ay! I like where my imagination is getting me...
Anyway, Richard's mom is behind the contract signing...parang mama's boy ang dating tuloy. E etong si KC whenever the showbiz news covers her contract signing, we see that she is in full control. She is disciplined about her appearance with her megastar mom. Sharon herself stresses that they are not a package deal. So, I don't buy that criticism sa kanya na porke't anak siya ni mega star... KC is off the hook from that (imho). But she is too damn pretty and nice, and we are all forgiving to a thing of beauty.

here's another movie concept...a KC and Aga movie. No. It doesn't have to involve being impossibly young and tramping around on the beach. Do you all remember when Aga was our dancing king? So, my idea is about a musical type of movie. I'm thinking of sibling rivalry not in dancing, filial conflicts, rich brats. Naka weave in na rin dun yung pa dancing dancing. The siblings love each other but grew apart. Aga loses his career or perhaps no career at all because he didn't outgrow his dancing days, then becomes a junkie. Here comes younger sister KC, classically trained ballerina, over achieving, perfectionist, proverbial child kuno but secretly jealous because she is not the popular one. Older brother uses her and gets into deep shit because of drug dependence. They get to know each other and realize their bond in the process. But...yes, sorry guys, Aga has to die and it will be a tragic death. Super nakakaiyak, magbabaha ang luha ni KC and we will all be drowned in our tears (Have you seen that 80's movie Less Than Zero , with Robert Downey, Jr in it?)

Young girl returns to the Philippines, makes a living by being a surfer in Siargao. Starts off absolutely bum and apathetic. all she cares about is the beautiful nature surrounding her. then here comes a nasty oil tanker looming in the horizon, environmentally threatening the very playground she loves. Hell hath no fury like a surfer scorned. bwahahaha. Battles her way through red tape and powers that be. she uses whatever influence she got from the surfing circle. On this level, she finds who are the real friends, users, opportunistic etc. Then it becomes a media battle. mafia-like wheeling and dealing to win favors, blogs. friends dragged into the mess and international scandal. May pagka-action packed pala eto. just imagine when you are on a surfboard, balancing for your life. It should capture that same kind of thrill, frustration and determination to stay standing.* she finds her strength, finds her worth, finds her purpose in life. Of course, may love element. hmmmm dito ko yata gustong makita si Richard Gutierrez exposing his guns and six pack. yum!

I totally agree that KC does not need Richard Gutierrez for her debut movie to be a mega blockbuster hit but as it is, I am equally thrilled that KChard seem like the loveteam to equal the intensity of Sharon-Gabby tandem..and paving the way for the two rival networks to work together instead of tearing each other down!!! May bigger purpose like KC said!
